Honors Faculty

The Lewis Honors College Faculty includes faculty with academic homes all across campus, representing 13 colleges. Honors faculty teach both Honors courses and departmental Honors sections of existing UK courses. Honors faculty also supervise research, theses and participate in various student co-curricular events. In addition, 12 faculty have their academic home in the Lewis Honors College. Ten lecturers are responsible for teaching HON 140: Knowledge and Society, a foundational Honors course required for all Honors students. These lecturers also teach Honors courses that fulfill UK core requirements in their areas of expertise. The remaining two lecturer positions are both endowed: the T. G. Lewis Faculty Scholar in Organizational Behavior and the Ruth Jones Lewis Faculty Scholar in Entrepreneurship & Free Enterprise. Both teach courses in their respective cross-disciplinary areas.

All UK faculty are invited to participate in Honors offerings. Please visit Honors Opportunities for Faculty Across Campus for details about the various options.
